While in Vegas for an Education Conference- myself and a teacher from my school attended the show "ICE" at the Riviera. It was a great show of incredible strength, balance, acrobatics and beauty all on ice skates! We had great seats! The stage was unique in that there was the main stage and then a 4' strip of ice that went around the front part of the audience. We were sitting just on the outside of that strip-- so that when they would skate by- we could feel the cool breeze and occasionally get sprayed by ice.

The funny part of the show happened to be when one of the characters, who was already providing comic relief- as the maintenance man who kept getting into the show one way or another- had his uniform ripped from him and he was wearing the flashy outfits of the rest of the cast. He was SOOOO happy that he skated around the stage out onto the strip that goes into the audience and then he stopped. He stopped right in front of me, raised his eyebrow, and started flirting with me.... and then in true Vegas style began to dance for me, unbuttoning his shirt, showing me his shoulder...lol! Meanwhile, I was turning multiple shades of red and laughing along with the crowd. Thankfully- the cast got on his case, and he skated back to the main stage before he undressed any more... then throughout the show he made a point of waving to me... to the amusement of all.
I had a hunch something was going to happen because the guy who sat us- told us to enjoy the show about 3 times.... and before the show started I wondered why he was so attentive to us! Now I know, he knew we were in the "seats". Anyhow, it was a great show and I enjoyed it very much!
