Jared and Danelle

Danelle and her father, MarvinJared and Danelle during the ceremony-- I thought it was a cool shot through the globe on the table! :)

Jared and Danelle- the newlyweds! The wedding was at Coyote Wash Golf Course in Wellton, it was a beautiful setting and even beautiful weather! (high of 90? in June? in Wellton!!) It was a beautiful ceremony, and of course Danelle was gorgeous and Jared was looking sharp!

Mom's birthday

Mom celebrated her birthday at the cabin this year. We were able to be there, along with Grandma, Paula and Clayton. The best part was that Frank had called us a few days before and asked us to help find her a laptop. We found him a great deal on a great laptop! :) But we didn't tell mom anything about it. She was soooo excited to hear she had a gift from Frank, and then when she opened it-- she really was excited! :) Check out the pictures:

Update!!

It's been a long time since I have posted anything to the blog... so the question is-- where to start? :) We have had so much happening the last few months, that it's been crazy! Jared and Danelle got married, school's out, and we are getting ready to go on an Alaskan Cruise! :) Here's a few pictures that I have to share for now... none of the wedding yet, but they are on their way! :)

Here's a great one of the happy couple though:And here are a few from the Bridal Shower:

The shower was great fun, and she got lots of great gifts! :)

Mother's Day weekend-- Mom, Jared, Danelle, Clayton and Niki came to visit! It was soooo fun to have the whole family here! We played games, went to a movie, went to the Gaslight Theater, and just had a great time hanging out! Here's a few pictures from that weekend:

The Birthday Trio- (thus the number 3)- not to mention the fact that it's the only candle I had in the house! :)

Moving on to the wedding, it was just this past weekend and it was beautiful, and the weather even cooperated!! But the pictures are still living on my camera at this moment in time and I am not in the mood to locate the camera! :) So... it will give me something to blog about later! :)

James Monroe Visit Scrapblog

Not Tagged, but thought it looked interesting...

My sister-in-law Niki, was tagged by her sister to do this, and so she "tagged" whomever wanted try it out! :) So this tag challenges you to go to My Pictures, to the 4th folder, to the 4th picture and post about it. Here it is: (my set up is a little different so I went to the 4th folder, the 4th folder again, and then the 4th picture)
Beautiful pink roses... from Wade you ask? Nope, not this time... they weren't even mine. They were decoration for Amy's Bridal shower last May. :) I was part of the bridal party. It was a great motivation for me to get to working out and losing weight! I had only lost 15 pounds by the time the wedding came around, but it was still a good thing! Thanks Amy for helping to provide some motivation to get me movin'! :)

Ok... as far as that "tag" was concerned... I liked it. It is a good thing to reminisce about the past... even if you just come up with a random picture of roses! :) So I tag Chelsy, Brooke, Mary, and anyone else who would like to give it a try! Have fun! I did!

OLD SCHOOL Havasupai! :)

Amy and I at Havasu Falls

When my closet came tumbling down a couple of weeks ago it forced me to do some deep cleaning, and in that process I located a CD with pics from my first trip down to Havasupai! :) Had to share at least a couple. I have Amy to thank for dragging me down there, but I am sooooo glad she did! It set in motion my path to meeting Wade! :)

Valentine's Day

We had a great time this weekend! We got lots of things accomplished. Wade and I went to dinner and then to visit our friends. Wade bought me a great Valentine's day gift. A new Dyson vacuum cleaner- it's pink (in honor of breast cancer awareness). I love it! It works so well! Best part is that was on clearance at Target because it is pink. I don't care what color it is, as long as it works! :)

I also decided to decorate my Christmas tree with hearts in honor of valentine's day. It turned out pretty cool looking. Here's a picture:

Domestic disasters

Wade left for a week for a work trip to Germany and while he was gone I had 2 domestic disasters!

Disaster 1: Wednesday night at midnight (or early Thursday morning) an alarm went off in my room. I figured it was the fire alarm. So I proceeded to climb up a chair and replace the battery. But it kept beeping.... so I replaced the battery again, and again... after 3 batteries and no luck. I finally called Wade in Germany. Poor guy. After about 30 minutes of trying to turn it off, removing it from the wall, and hauling it into another room and it was still BEEPING! Finally Wade says- is it the carbon monoxide sensor? I looked and it was... and it quit beeping after I simply unplugged it from the wall... after all of that!! AUGH!

Disaster 2: Saturday evening, about 20 minutes before Wade's plane landed here in Tucson... I heard this loud crash- it nearly scared me to death. As soon as I found the source of the noise I was shocked to see all of the contents of my side of the closet on the floor. The shelf, the rack of clothes- on the floor!! I quickly moved all of my clothes into the guest room. Just in time for Wade to call and say that he was waiting at the airport for me to pick him up.

Lucky for me my hero came home to fix all of my disasters! :) I am so lucky he is willing and able to fix my disasters! Yeah for husbands!

How to fold a fitted sheet!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHTyH2nuFAw&eurl

I always wondered how to do this... all of mine are just rolled into lopsided balls and stuffed into the linen closet with the hope that no one will ever see them but me! :) Guess I should go and try it out! :)

Oh the random things I find online... and decide to share!

What time is it in Germany??

Christmas 2008

I know this is waaaay late, but better late than never, right? Well... that's what I have heard anyhow.

We spent Christmas visiting Wade's brother Troy, and his mom (who lives in the basement apartment)at their home in Utah. It is a beautiful home and place they are living in. We had a great time with all the boys. :) (There are 7 in all, but only 5 live there full time)

There was sooooo much snow! It was great to see. But reminded me of WHY I enjoy Tucson winters so much (no snow!). I am proud to report that I only slipped and fell one time! That's usually all it takes for me to be extra careful.

We had a great time playing games and hanging out with the family.

Here are a few pictures:
Here is one of the whole gang after church the Sunday before Christmas:

beautiful, huh?
